The Digital Lives of Children in the Horn of Africa
The digital world has become the new playground of childhood in the Horn of Africa, a space alive with possibility yet shadowed by emerging dangers. Although only about one third of children in the region have regular internet access, those who go online navigate an environment shaped by rapid technological uptake weak regulatory protections, conflict, and widespread displacement that intensifies digital risk.
